Have you ever imagined living in Portugal? Are you longing for a community of like-minded souls? A group of people with whom you can grow, exchange, explore and create common projects? Or do you simply need a time-out, enjoying the richness of another culture? Or me-time in need of some deeper exploration of your life’s destiny?
We welcome you on our ‘community week’ in the historic town of Tomar!
TOMAR
We offer a week of new possibilities, exploration and insight. Exploring our own motives and inner movements, as well as exploring Central Portugal. Tomar is an ancient Templar Town, with an impressive Templar castle overlooking the old centre. The pittoresque town, which has its roots in Celtic, Roman, Visigoth and Arab time, is situated two hours north of Lisbon. In the neighbourhood are Fatima, the castelos of Ourem and Almourol, and the abbey of Batalha en Alcobassa. Tomar is situated on leylines that connect to other powerplaces in Portugal.
OPEN SPACE
The format of this week is ‘Open Space’. We start our process with everyone’s own story, wishes, theme’s and obstacles. From there on we will weave the program together and discover what brought us together. We will have the possibility to do yoga, meditation, constellation and energetic work, discover more on the mystic Templars or go on an excursion. There will be two sharing circles a day to add the pieces of the puzzle: one in the morning from 10 – 13 AM, and one in the evening from 8.30 – 10 pm. We’ll start the program on the first day with a dinner in our community space: The Gate, right at the foot of the castle, where all our meetings will take place. We will end with a lunch on Sunday.

COSTS
€ 680, including lunch, dinner and ‘open space’ program.
ACCOMMODATION
Make sure you book an accommodation including breakfast through booking.com, preferably in the old town, between the castle land the river. We’ll have lunch and dinner together.
TRAVEL
You can book a flight to Lisbon, and take the train from Lisboa Oriente to Tomar in two hours. The costs of the train are € 10 one way.
BRING WITH YOU
Easy clothing (in layers, Tomar can be warm and sunny, but also windy and rainy in the spring), yoga clothing, light rain coat, sandals, light walking shoes, thick socks or slippers for in The Gate, notebook, instruments if you have them, a personal symbol to put on the altar…

NB. In case of cancellation, there is a fee of € 200 two weeks before the start of the event. After that the whole amount has to be paid. Hotel cancellations should be checked with the hotel itself. Your registration to the retreat will only be confirmed once the payment is received.
HOW TO GET IN TOMAR
Tomar can be easily reached by plane to Lisbon and a direct 2 hour train drive to Tomar. You can walk from the trainstation to The Gate and hotels inside the old town in 10 minutes.
