Welcome to Light the Beacons, an inspiring week retreat near the Cathar castle of Montségur. We will celebrate the namesday of Mary Magdalene on July 22nd and work towards the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris on July 26th.
‘When the feminine can no longer dance and embody the creative forces of fire, the world will turn to grey. Men will lose vision and children will lose hope. Nature will perish and the world will fall apart. So call upon the lovers, call upon the knights, the musicians, the artists, the troubadours. Call upon the new Cathars and the Magdalenes, to re-awaken the goddess and bring back the soul to life.’

COSTS
€ 1290. This includes retreat costs + accomodation + 3 meals/day. Not included: drinks and excursions decided on the spot.
PARTICIPATION
You can only participate for the whole event. All retreats start at 6 pm (18:00) with dinner and the opening ceremony on the first night, and end at 1 pm (13:00) on the last day with a closing ceremony right before lunch time.

NB. In case of cancellation, there is a cancellation fee of € 200 one month before the start of the event. After that the whole amount has to be paid. Possible hotel cancellations should be checked with the hotel itself.
HOW TO GET TO LES CONTES
The venue can best be reached by car. It can also be reached by train, or by plane to Toulouse or Carcassonne. From there a taxi can take you to the location.
