Welcome to spend 4 days together in Tomar, the Templar capital of Portugal, a sweet medieval town where we can experience a new kind of community life, while discovering our soul purpose together. You find accommodation inside the old town in a hotel or air b&b of your choice and we meet daily at The Gate, Rua Dr. Joaquim Jacinto 113, in the center of the old town.

WHAT? 4 days to reconnect with who you truly are, your inner leadership, your life purpose ànd your fellow peers. To bring back the heart in the world, to focus on the good things in life, to find back your strength and actively co-create a better world together. Because “we are the ones we have been waiting for”. 

WHO? All people who feel the call of their soul, who want to know their soul mission and who want to find their tribe to co-create a better world.

Our program:

10-13 am: body awareness and circle sharing
13-15.30 pm: lunch and break
15.30-19 pm: circle sharing and activity (decided on the spot)
19-20.30 pm: dinner
20.30-22 pm: meditation and closure of the day

HOW? We work with yoga, body awareness, meditation, relaxation and breathing, music, dance, circle sharing and Open Space alchemy, to discover who we are, what brings us together and what we could co-create as a growing network. If needed we can go on excursions in the surroundings, visiting places that serve our group purpose.

WHEN? May 20 – 24: we gather on the 20^nd at 6 pm in The Gate for our first dinner together and end on the 24^th before lunch time (13 am), with a closing circle. Everybody is expected to participate for the whole retreat.

OPEN SPACE
The format of this gathering is ‘Open Space’. We start our process with everyone’s own story, wishes, themes and obstacles. From there on we will weave the program together and discover what brought us together. We will have the possibility to do yoga, meditation, constellation and energetic work, discover more on the mystic Templars or go on an excursion. There will be at least two sharing circles a day to add the pieces of the puzzle: one in the morning from 10 – 13 am, and one in the evening from 8.30 – 10 pm. We’ll start the program on the first day with a dinner, gathering in our community space: The Gate, right at the foot of the castle, where all our meetings will take place. We will end right before the lunch on Sunday.

Note that if you have a psychiatric background, Open Space is not the right format for you.  

COSTS
€ 550, including all lunches and dinners and the full program, , yoga, meditation, sharing circles and ‘open space’ program.
Not included: your journey towards Tomar (flight, train…), sleeping accommodation and breakfast, additional foods and drinks and excursions (and transport) decided on the spot.

ACCOMMODATION
Make sure you book an accommodation including breakfast through booking.com, preferably in the old town, between the castle land the river. We’ll have lunch and dinner together. We can advise you on the places to stay.
NOTE: Most Portuguese food is with meat and fish, but there will always be some vegetarian alternatives. If you are allergic to certain foods, please take care of your own needs.

TRAVEL
You can book a flight to Lisbon, and take the train from Lisboa Oriente to Tomar in two hours. The costs of the train are € 11 one way. You can walk from the trainstation to The Gate and hotels inside the old town in 10 minutes.

BRING WITH YOU
Easy clothing (in layers), yoga clothing, swimming suit, sandals, light walking shoes, thick socks or slippers for in The Gate, notebook, instruments if you have them, a personal symbol to put on the altar…

NB. In case of cancellation, there is a fee of € 200 two weeks before the start of the event. After that the whole amount has to be paid.  Hotel cancellations should be checked with the hotel itself. Your registration to the retreat will only be confirmed once the payment is received.
