KEEP THE FIRE BURNING

The greatest teachings (and signs) on our path often come to us via T-shirts. This (see picture) was the T-shirt that encouraged us last week, during our first gathering with a small group, to prepare for Earth Heart 2026. “Never give up, because great things take time.” What starts small can ultimately become big – if we hold on. Even without us noticing: when updating the world map on our website, Ton discovered that last year’s Worldwide Ceremony did not gather 480 initiatives as we initially thought, but many more. In retrospect, up to 800 people worldwide organized events for groups of various on November 20, 2025, while we ourselves were gathering in the Amazon, following the way of the water. An incredible number!

As you know, this coming year we will we be anchoring Earth Heart in Turkey, near Mount Ararat – the sacred mountain of the Armenians. This time, we will not follow the way of the water, but the fuel of the fire. And we will need that fuel. Because such a big event does not happen overnight. It requires preparation. It needs people to feel that flame burning in their hearts and souls, and to hold it through the coming months.

And perhaps that is the hardest part: holding the faith that this event is needed and that it will happen. It is about keeping the inner fire burning, from the very moment we hear the call, until we can physically make it happen many months later. We know that if we let our inner fire die down, nothing much will happen. So, we first need to invigorate the flame in our own souls. And this doesn’t only apply to Earth Heart; it applies to all soul initiatives, all the personal callings and missions that we feel deep inside.

That is exactly why we invite people to come together – not only to connect and draw strength from each other’s enthusiasm, but also to map the territory we want to explore, discover its gems and challenges, and step into an initiation that will further unfold in the months to come. This is the initiation of the fire: feeling the inner mission, igniting the flame, and stepping into action.

We discovered that the Turkish / Kurdish / Armenian soil gives us plenty of inspiration for this – if we are willing to follow the signs. We took the time to explore… What is it about Turkey and the surrounding lands – Armenia, Syria, Iran, Iraq, the Middle East – that resonates with us personally? And what resonates with you?

Is it the mystic Sufi tradition that stirs your heart? The words of Rumi? The melancholic vibration of the setar?
Is it the memory of the ancient fire temples? Is it Göbekli Tepe, the oldest matriarchal temple site history recalls?
Are you being called by the sacred Mount Ararat? Or can you feel the golden disk at the bottom of Lake Van?
Is your soul touched by the stories of Inanna, the epic of Gilgamesh, or the ancient tales of Mesopotamia? Or are you being stirred by the challenges of the fallen angels, the Nephilim, who still whisper in the Kurdish mountains?
Or perhaps you recall the message of the ancient patriarchs, Enoch and Noah, who spoke of the beginnings and endings of civilizations?

Simply by tuning into our own needs and emotions of the day, we naturally touched upon several of these themes. We followed the eight-pointed star and discovered where it led us. We laid the patriarchs to rest and felt into our ancestral maternal lineage. We acknowledged the loss of innocence and felt the deep longing to revive the simplicity and playfulness of our own inner child. We invoked the fiery joy of simply being together, following the flow, playing and discovering, painting on windows, and picki-nicking near the river. We encountered tears and sadness, without adding drama to the drama, holding space for each other in uncovering an ancient grief embedded in the soil of the forefathers, and in the soul of humanity. A humanity that once knew unity but forgot; that once felt oneness in diversity, but then began to fight for supremacy. Creating one massive misunderstanding – as if one could ever live without the other.

Through this, we discovered the inner fire temple and redirected our own inner compass. Recalling what really matters in our lives. Reconnecting to a cosmic source that gives us the courage to move forward, feeding our human hearts with the Earth heart and the cosmic heart. Not separated, but all together. For it is not by fighting each other with destructive fires that we will thrive, but by fueling the collective sacred fire within.

And this is just the first layer of the Earth Heart foundation we are building. You are warmly welcome to join us and help create the next layer, at one of our upcoming gatherings.
