From Sanliurfa to Mount Ararat
A GLOBAL FIRE CEREMONY
For the fourth time we are organizing Earth Heart, our annual Worldwide Ceremony for the Earth & Humanity, paralel to the Climate Conference. Earlier versions were in Scotland in 2021, Sinai in 2022 and the Amazon in 2025. This year we will anchor in Turkey, the country that hosts the 31st Climate Conference. The date of the Earth Heart ceremony will be November 8, 2026, on a new moon and one day before the start of the COP. While last year was more of a water ceremony, tuning into to the waters of the Amazon, this year we want to invite you for a fire ceremony. The idea is – with all the destructive energy of fire in the world- to light the sacred fire of the heart.
THE JOURNEY
We’d like to travel with a small group of no more than 10 participants, and a number of people have already signed up. At the moment, we still have space for a few more people. We only travel with people who have travelled with us before and are very familiar with the principles of Open Space.

COST OF THE TRIP
€1,550, including simple accommodation, breakfast, lunch, diner. Excluding flight, airport-to-hotel transfer, drinks and extras. Accommodation in rooms of 2.

3. In case of cancellation up till 2 weeks there will be a fee to be paid of € 250. After that the whole amount nees to be paid.
IMPORTANT NOTES
There are a number of things you need to bear in mind:
- The area through which we travel carries a heavy energetic charge and can be confrontational in all sorts of ways. It therefore requires a willingness to examine inner processes and to discuss blind spots and personal issues openly within the group. Often, these personal themes are the gateway to collective fields.
- This is not a tourist trip. We may visit special places if it fits with the process, but it may well be that we do not. Our aim is to carry out the energetic work required to prepare for the Earth Heart ceremony, which will take place at Mount Ararat on 8 November.
- The local population in this area speaks very little English, with a few exceptions.
- The food consists mainly of meat: there are almost no vegetarian options, let alone vegetables.
- We are guests in a different country, with a different culture and religion, and that always requires a certain degree of respect and adaptability.
- We cannot accept responsibility for unexpected events, loss, theft, illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
- We usually stay in twin rooms, and occasionally in a triple room.

GUIDELINES
1. Note that the main language spoken on the retreat will be in English.
2. You subscribe for the whole weekend, from Friday evening 18.00 till Monday 11.00. The retreat starts with dinner and the opening circle and meditation on the first night, and ends on the last morning with a closing circle.
3. Please organize your own travel to and from Ararat. You can make your own journey through Turkey. Some groups will start in Sanliurfa, to visit Göbekli Tepe beforehand, or lake Van, with its ancient culture of Urartu, or the sources of the Tigris and Euphrates… There are many possibilities to explore, navigate and tune in to this moment in time. Feel what is your best way to get there and with whom.
4. November in Eastern Turkey will be chilly. Please bring warm clothes.
5. The place and the area we will go to is quite barren and desolate: mountain area. It is not the romantic hotspot you see in brochures for Turkey. But then again: the purposes of the visit isn’t a touristic one. We will go there to do energetic work. As we will work with the rules of Open Space: Expect the Unexpected!
6. You are responsible for your own travel, transport and insurance. We only provide for the gathering, food and accommodation at the location. Make sure you have a valid passport and a fully covered travel- and medical insurance. Europeans do not need a visum for Turkey, only a ID card or international passport.
7. We can’t take responsibility for any damage, illness, theft or other unforeseen events.
8. No drugs of any sort are permitted, and we like you to limit alcohol, coffee and meat.
9. Due to the context and content of this week, no children – nor animals – are allowed.
10. We will be using Open Space, a way to give space to that what wants to reveal itself and to connect to that what resonates inside of you, the group, and the collective. Open Space gives the possibility to expect the unexpected, to be inspired by the moment, and to act from the heart. It is a sometimes discomforting method but one that can reveal magic beyond our imagination.
11. The main intention of our work is personal healing and growth. So the fuller you personally engage in the process, the more it might bring to you. We encourage your preparation and devotion to this work by tuning in the months and weeks before, by asking a few questions to yourself: what is my intention? What do I want to achieve? What is my pitfall or my shadow? How can I prepare myself?
12. The ‘energetic field’ of this region is quite intensive. We are close to Iran, Syria and Armenia. You need to be able to take responsibility for your own well-being, and stay firmly grounded in ‘3D’ reality.
14. Please look at the recordings with background information that we held to prepare for this event. We will send them to you, when you subscribe.
15. Inform yourself about the local culture and customs. And be aware that we are a guest in the region. We can’t perform any ceremonies without the explicit permission from the local authorities. We will be prospecting what is possible during our preparatory trip to Turkey in the month of September.
