DESCRIPTION:A PLACE TO MEET, IN THE HEART OF THE TOWN\nTRY OUT OUR YOGA CLASSES FOR FREE!\n(see below) // From July on\nThe first time we visited Tomar, Portugal, in February 2022, we received the following message:\n“A time is coming that people will flock to these places of light, like this Convento de Cristo in Tomar, to find and keep your connection with the soul. It are these points of light, spread out over the world, that will preserve the soul of the earth and the soul of humanity. And you are the guardians of these places, the guardians of light, the templars of the heart. In Tomar you will start an international center of light, where many people can come and learn and be nourished, so that they know what to do in these coming years…”\nSo when arriving and finding a home in Tomar, we understood we were here to help create a community in this medieval town, that would help, inspire and sustain each other through these challenging times.\nWith this purpose – with the financial help of many – we just opened a beautiful space in the old center of town, THE GATE, where we (will) organize yoga & meditation sessions, workshops, encounters, lectures, retreats, and everything that supports the community life and the future world. Happenings that will develop organically in interaction with visitors and the local people in town.\nWelcome to join us!\n \nSTARTING IN JULY:\nWEEKLY ACTIVITIES AT ‘THE GATE’\nSIGN IN & TRY OUT FOR FREE!\n\n\nYOGA & RELAXATION (Ton)\n\nTuesday at 10 am / 6 €\nThursday at 7 pm / 6 €\n\n\nSOMATIC MOVEMENT* (Anne)\n\nFriday 10 am / 6 € (only after subscription*)\n\n\nMEDITATION EVENING* (Anne & Ton)\n\nDate still to be decided / Free (if you’re interested, please let us know*)\n\n\n\nYoga : simple hatha and yin yoga, breath work and body awareness, also for beginners.\nSomatic movement*: a blend of relaxation, meditation, sensation, movement and healing to get more body awareness.
