DESCRIPTION:TOMAR (PORTUGAL), April 16 – 20, 2025\n‘Through the ages there have been holy warriors, sacred warriors, who had heard the call of their heart and the call of the divine. In any form. Be it Christian, be it Roman, be it Celtic. The outer circumstances of a society don’t matter. Because underneath there is always the sacred tradition of the heart and the warriors of the heart, who uphold the ethics and the sacred laws of the universe, which they feel in their heart. It is this tradition that you are part of, in a long lineage from the Essenes, the Cathars, the Templars, the Free Masons, the Rosicrucians, people who were striving to do good for a society, who brought in their stone to build a cathedral of love, or a temple of love. You are the guardians of light, the templars of the heart.’\n\nSometimes the world can be overwhelming, chaotic, senseless. How do we make life work in a positive, constructive way when the world around us doesn’t make sense at all? And what is exactly our role in it? Do we have a ‘destiny’ or mission? If yes, what is it?\nWithin the concept of Open Space – meaning we will create the program together on the spot – we will explore what it means to live in these weird, changing, but interesting times. We will touch upon questions like: Who am I? What’s my purpose in life? How do I cope with relationships, money, work and love? What does it mean to be masculine or feminine, or both? How do I fit in with others and with the world around me? How can I express my feelings in a safe way? How can I use my intuition? Basic questions that contribute to the handbook ‘how to live on earth and still enjoy the ride’.\nThis 4 day retreat will be held in the middle of Tomar, the old Portuguese capital of the Templars. If you feel called you are very welcome to join.\nHope to meet you in Tomar in April!\nTon & Anne\n\nWHERE: The workshop will take place at The Gate, our space in Rua dr. Joaquim Jacinto 113, Tomar, at the foot of the old Templar hill.\nLODGING: We ask you to book your own lodging (Bed & Breakfast) in the old city center of Tomar. We will share a list of nice places to stay close to The Gate. We advice everyone to book a hotel inside the old town, all is at a walkable distance there and it makes you part of the ‘community life’. There is also a simple but free parking spot for campers in the town center.\nWHEN: April, 16 – 20, 2025\nStarting 16/4, at 6 pm (18:00), meeting at The Gate to have dinner together\nEnding 20/4 at 1 pm (13:00), after the closing circle, before lunch\nWHO: Facilitators are Ton van der Kroon & Anne Wislez\n\nHOW: We will be initiating you into the world of the Templars knights (f/m/x) and the Warriors of the Heart, and we will also be working with the principles of Open Space, creating part of the program together on the spot.
